Pain Management Research
at Dhee Lifesciences: Targeting Pain Transmission Pathways

Dhee Lifesciences is at the forefront of pain management research, focusing on developing novel therapies that target the complex pathways involved in inflammatory and neuropathic pain. Our approach combines a deep understanding of pain transmission pathways with cutting-edge drug discovery and development strategies. Here’s a look at how we’re tackling pain management:

w
Understanding Pain Transmission Pathways:

Inflammatory Pain: We study the role of inflammatory mediators, such as prostaglandins and cytokines, in sensitizing pain receptors and amplifying pain signals in inflammatory conditions.

Neuropathic Pain: We investigate the mechanisms underlying neuropathic pain, including nerve damage, aberrant neural signaling, and central sensitization, to develop targeted therapies.

Chronic Pain: We are actively engaged in cannabinoid research for pain management. Our focus is on harnessing the therapeutic potential of cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), to develop innovative treatments for chronic pain. Through our research, we aim to better understand the mechanisms of action of cannabinoids in pain modulation and their potential to provide relief for patients suffering from inflammatory and neuropathic pain conditions. Our goal is to develop safe and effective cannabinoid-based therapies that offer new hope to individuals living with chronic pain

Target Identification and Drug Design:

Targeted Receptor Modulation: Using molecular modeling and structure-based drug design, we develop drugs that target specific pain receptors, such as TRPV1, TRPA1, nociceptors, and opioid receptors, to modulate pain signaling.

Neurotransmitter Regulation: We explore the role of neurotransmitters, such as glutamate and GABA, in pain modulation, developing drugs that regulate their release and activity to reduce pain.

Overcoming Pain Sensitization:

Sensitization Inhibition: We develop drugs that inhibit the sensitization of pain receptors, preventing the amplification of pain signals and reducing pain perception.

Neural Plasticity Modulation: By targeting neural plasticity mechanisms, we aim to reverse the changes in neural circuits that contribute to chronic pain, restoring normal pain processing.

Collaborative Research:

Academic Partnerships: We collaborate with leading academic institutions to access cutting-edge research and expertise in pain management, accelerating our drug development efforts.

Pain Specialists: We work closely with pain specialists, including clinicians and researchers, to gain insights into the clinical aspects of pain management. Their expertise helps us better understand patient needs and tailor our therapies to effectively address them.

Advocacy Groups: We collaborate with advocacy groups focused on pain management to raise awareness about the impact of chronic pain and the need for innovative treatment options. These partnerships help us stay connected with the patient community and understand their perspectives
